I found the interface to be very impersonal and confusing, I was very afraid of touching anything, thinking if I did I would not be able to find my way back to the "home screen" . Nothing about the interface was familiar. As well there was no sense of flow to the design. I could not predict what clicking on a particular button would do and where it would take me.
The quality of the information provided was also weak. It would have been great if the program allowed for internet access and provided links about each building or object it detailed.
I have to agree with other's complaints that the volume was too low, adding to this I would like to say finding out how to turn up the volume was equally as frustrating.
I could see this program having great potential applications within a museum setting if it were able to be used on personal devices such as cell phones or Ipods. However the accuracy of the GPS system would make it impossible for the system to distinguish between individual displays, meaning that the program would be no different then many programs already on the market.

Just as Peter's comment, the provided information needs to be improved immediately. For people who just arrive in Leicester, they may want more practical information about the attractions and buildings. However, some contents are not helpful. For example, it tells people "it is a church" when we stand in front of the church. It tells us there are exhibitions in the museum. (???) I don't think tourists will increase interest to the attractions through these messages.
Besides, the programme may develop multiple text interface in the future. For example, the information may be presented not only by sound, but also by words. Since the volume may be influenced by the environmental factors, users can "read" information alternatively when it is too noisy.
Likewise, i think the buildings or objects can be marked with different colour on the map. It allows people to know "what will happen later". Since I don't know when the system will speak and I may miss it, it might be better to supply certain "announcement" in advance. Furthermore, the scope of the map is worth being extended gradually. It is limited within the city center now.
It is a creative programme which features each area. However, more improvements are necessary in order to facilitate users.
